Overview
Akshar School, sited at Diamond Harbour Road in Kolkata, is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certification Examinations (CISCE). The Rajpal Khullar Memorial Trust – a non profit charitable organization under the able guidance of Professor Yashpal Sharma, an eminent educationist and scientist, founded the school on June 18, 1998.
Akshar is an integrated school, which caters to the needs of children with special needs along with regular children. The school offers education from lower KG to class X and has a total student strength of 400 and faculty strength of 60.
Akshar School is a member of The International Award for Young People, India (Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme), Japan Karate Association of India, Bharat Scouts and Guides and SPICMACAY.
